Consumer unit replacement and upgrade
A rewireable fuse board in a modern flat is like a car without seatbelts: fine until something happens. Replacing it is one of the few jobs that genuinely makes a home safer.
- Price from
- 350 € per job
- Response time
- Routine work 24–48 hours, emergencies often the same day

What the job includes
- Removing the old board and fitting the new one
- Splitting circuits by load across the breakers
- Installing RCD protection
- Labelling every circuit and leaving a schedule in the board
- Testing and a written report
How we do it
We map which circuit feeds what first — that takes an hour, but without it half the board ends up unlabelled. In the new board the wet areas, the kitchen and the lighting get their own circuits. The power is off for two to four hours, and we agree that window in advance.
Good to know
In an apartment building the flat's board is yours, but the main fuse and the meter belong to the network operator. If the main fuse needs uprating, that is a separate application — we help with the paperwork.
Frequently asked questions
How long is the power off?
Two to four hours depending on the number of circuits. We schedule it so the fridge can stay shut through it.
Do I get a report?
Yes, the test report is part of the job. It gets asked for in insurance claims and when selling the flat.
