Radiator replacement and installation
A cold radiator does not always mean a broken heating system — three times out of four it is trapped air or a seized thermostat. We check that before anything comes off the wall.

- 85 € per job
- Response time
- Routine work 24–48 hours, emergencies often the same day

What the job includes
- Removing and disposing of the old radiator
- Fitting the new radiator with its brackets
- Installing thermostatic and lockshield valves
- Bleeding the system and checking the pressure
- Leak-testing the joints under heating pressure
How we do it
In an apartment block we always agree first when the riser can be drained — usually that means summer and the housing association knowing about it. In a house the work can be done year round. We size the new radiator from the room's volume and the existing connections, not from what happens to be on offer.
Good to know
Replacing radiators without balancing the system leaves one room hot and another cold. Ask for lockshield valves — they cost little and let the system be tuned afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be done during the heating season?
In a house, yes. In a block it depends on the association: some buildings can isolate a single riser, some cannot. We find that out for you.
Do you fit underfloor heating?
In a new bathroom or kitchen, yes, as part of the renovation. We do not design whole-house underfloor systems.
Guides and advice
Water heater or district heating: where your hot water comes from
Weak or costly hot water usually comes down to one of three systems — here is how to tell which one heats your home.
Curtain rails and blinds before the heating season: what to check
A quick check of curtain length and blind mechanisms before the heating starts keeps fabric off the radiator and heat moving into the room.
Hot water is slow to arrive: what a circulation problem looks like
Waiting ages for hot water usually points to the building's circulation loop, not your own taps.
