Mobile welding on site
Most welding jobs stop making sense the moment the part has to come off and go somewhere. We arrive with the plant and weld the gate, railing or frame in place, in one visit.
- Price from
- 55 €/h
- Response time
- Routine work 24–48 hours, emergencies often the same day

What the job includes
- MIG/MAG and TIG welding: mild steel, stainless, aluminium
- Welding up broken gates, hinges and railings
- Making frames, brackets and fixings to measure
- Cutting out a failed weld and running it again
- Grinding, priming and painting the weld so it does not rust
How we do it
We start by asking why the weld failed: most broken gates and railings do not break at the weld, they break because the load went to the wrong place. A part simply welded back together breaks again in the same spot, so we reinforce the joint or add a support. Then the weld is ground back, primed and painted — bare weld metal rusts through one Estonian winter.
Good to know
Welding is hot work. In a flat, a cellar or beside a timber house we sheet the area, keep an extinguisher to hand and check the spot again after we finish. If flammable material has to stay close by, we say so beforehand, not halfway through.
Frequently asked questions
Do you come to us, or do we bring the part?
We come to you — that is the point of the service. For a small loose part such as a bracket or a light frame it is sometimes cheaper to bring it in, because a workshop bench is faster.
Do you weld stainless and aluminium?
Yes, with TIG. Both need their own filler and a slower pace, so the hourly rate is the same but the job takes more hours than mild steel.
Can thin sheet be welded?
Sheet under a millimetre can be welded, but it burns through easily. On vehicle or appliance panels riveting or bonding often lasts longer — we will say on site which one we would trust.
Guides and advice
Building a metal gate yourself or having a locksmith make one
A practical look at what it takes to weld a garden gate yourself, and when paying for a made-to-measure one is the sounder choice.
Garden gate not closing properly any more: what has gone wrong
A gate that used to swing shut on its own rarely fails for one reason — here is how to work out which.
Wooden gate or metal gate: what the difference actually means
A gate swings and locks all year, so the wood-versus-metal decision matters more here than anywhere else on the fence line.
